Ming is the owner and operator of the Tea House & Gift Shoppe.
The store is located at 396 Penn Avenue in West Reading, Pa., where
she sells fine teas, tisanes, chai, coffee, and unique gift items,
including gift baskets and fine teapots, tea sets, flowering tea
and other
accessories. Ming, who hosts small tea parties by
appointment, at one time owned and operated the Sze Chuan
Restaurant in Cumru Township where she introduced authentic Chinese cuisine to the Berks County market. She has also
operated Reading-area outlet stores where she sold
candy and toys. Born Hsu Ming Hsia in Nanking, China, she was raised in Taiwan, and
moved to the U.S. in 1969. |

Roger is pastor of Christ Delong United Church of
Christ,
in Bowers, Pa., and St. Peter's United Church of Christ, in
Topton, Pa. Roger also served at Immanuel
UCC, Shillington, Pa., and at Bausman Memorial
UCC, Wyomissing, Pa., while acquiring a Master of
Divinity degree from Lancaster
Theological Seminary. A former newspaper editor, broadcaster and media
consultant, he holds a management degree, summa cum laude, from Alvernia College. Former
secretary-treasurer
of the Reading Association in the Penn
Southeast Conference of the United Church of Christ
, he has been an active leader of local and
regional Goodwill Industries
organizations, the
Pennsylvania Universalist Convention, and professional groups.
