Ming is the owner and operator of the Tea House & Gift Shoppe
at 2002 State Hill Road, Wyomissing, Pa., with online store at teahousegifts.com.
She sells fine teas, tisanes, chai, coffee, and unique gift items,
including gift baskets and fine teapots, tea sets, flowering tea
and other
accessories. Ming hosts or caters tea parties or tea
tastings by appointment
She is a former owner of the Sze Chuan
Restaurant in Cumru Township where she introduced authentic Chinese cuisine to the Berks County market. She has also
operated Reading-area outlet stores where she sold
candy and toys. Born Hsu Ming Hsia in Nanking, China, she was raised in
Taiwan, and
moved to the U.S. in 1969. |

Roger is pastor of Christ Delong United Church of
Christ,
in Bowers, Pa., and St. Peter's United Church of Christ, in
Topton, Pa. He holds a Master of
Divinity degree from Lancaster
Theological Seminary and a management degree from Alvernia College. He is a former newspaper
editor and broadcaster. He served pastoral internships at Immanuel
UCC, Shillington, Pa., and at Bausman Memorial
UCC, Wyomissing, Pa. He is secretary-treasurer of the East Berks Association in the Penn
Southeast Conference of the United Church of Christ,
previously held that position in the Reading Association, and is active in
The Brandywine Ministerium, Kutztown Ministerial Association, and other community, church and professional
organizations.
