The Tea House and Gift Shoppe and teahousegifts.com are owned and operated by Ming Ulrich. Her
specialty is designing gift baskets and gift packages that appeal to tea
or coffee lovers. Specially designed gift presentations are prepared for holidays
or special events, including weddings, sympathy gifts, and congratulatory
or thank-you presentations.
Ming is the former president of Sze Chuan Inc., a family corporation that operated a restaurant in Cumru Township, Pennsylvania in the early 1980s. In the late 1980's and early 1990's, she operated candy and toy stores in the famous Reading outlet shopping area. She was born Hsu Ming Hsia in Nanking, China; grew up on Taiwan; and moved to the United States in 1969. Ming and her husband, Roger Ulrich, reside in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. She is the mother of three grown children: Susan (Ulrich) Trapasso, Tina Ulrich, and Bob Ulrich. | |
